Read Job 2:9-10; Proverbs 3:5

Week 6 – October 15th – King David
Read Psalm 6; 9; 23; 24; 51; 98; 2 Samuel 1:19-27
In this portrayal, David is at the end of his life. Using the Psalms, he begins to reflect on certain moments that helped to define and shape his relationship with God; good and bad. As he reminisces, he is struck by the thought that it was for the Glory of God that he lived – and he truly COULD be summed up as “a man after God’s own heart.”
